Legal aid cuts are happening across Canada. On August 16th, Jennifer Fisk of Victoria, BC is riding for the liberty & justice of all Canadians. She will cycle across Canada to raise money for the Access to Justice Fund. This is a "Right to Counsel" fund created by her partners at the West Coast LEAF Organization.
Access to Justice Fund has been created to advance the constitutional rights of women, and men, to legal representation in complex family law and other civil matters. Parents, with limited resources, would have access to lawyers and other resources for custody and family law issues. By creating change in the BC legal aid system, the impact will be felt across Canada.
Sign our petition to restore Legal Aid in BC or Make a Donation to help loving parents to reunite with their children....or both! All monies raised by Jennifer will be donated directly to Access to Justice Fund in honour of her partner & family, whom are directly affected by the shortcomings of BCs legal aid system.
